Modeled in Carrara then detailed and textured in ZBrush. Some post work in Photoshop.

Not exactly where I wanted this one to finish. But I have other projects and schoolwork to attend to. And being this is a personal project… well priorities have to stay in order, right. I will most likely return to this one in the future.

Meet The Pros was a pretty awesome event.

I had three portfolio reviews and they were more pleasing than I expected. There are a few changes that I need to make but that goes without saying. A person’s portfolio will go through multiple changes throughout their career. If it doesn’t, there is no growth.  The information I took from the panels and my reviews will be put to work in the coming months as I prepare to exit college and enter the world of graphic design. Let’s just hope I can deliver. I have no doubts that I can.

Description: Meet The Pros is this coming Monday and Tuesday. I will attend and hand out business cards as well as show off my portfolio. Hopefully I’ll land a job. I’m looking at you Outpost 12 Studios.

Today my girlfriend asked me to put a copy of Anchorman on her ipod. We do not own a digital copy of the movie. And she knows we don’t don’t partake in the criminal downloads.

So how was I to do this. Well, she wanted me to take our DVD copy, rip it to my PC, then convert it to .avi format in order to place it onto her ipod.

Now, she didn’t know all that went into the process. But somehow she figured I could magically perform this. (Which I can, but procrastination has held me back from doing so.)

In the end. My girlfriend may not ask me to change her oil, rotate her tires, or replace a spark-plug. (Which I can do, not without complications; but nevertheless it will get done.) But she makes me feel like the sexiest manly man in the world when she asks me to perform PC related tasks.

Now hand me my soldering iron and gets out me way!
